the whistle-stop England tour
Dear readers,
Keeping this short and sweet - the ticket links for my December visit to England are now up. It all started because the British Library invited me over for a chat during their fantasy exhibit, and then my publisher got all excited, and I can never say no to an excuse to linger in the UK for a few days.
Called up all my friends for dinner plans, got tickets to Christmas at Kew, demanded that an old acquaintance book us somewhere with a good scone for breakfast…I’m so excited!
A picture from my UK visit from the same time last year…Kew was freezing and we bundled up the scarves and kept asking each other if we looked “top heavy.” It was the first time I visited Daunt Books, and now I’m the happy owner of one of those ubiquitous emerald tote bags!
