I am currently reading Babel and I want to tell you how much I love it.
Am I detecting a metaphor for Marxist dialectics in the way the bars can be made to self-destruct? I'm not even halfway through, but it's going to be interesting to see how everything unfolds.
Same with this strike and the waves upon waves of recent labor actions (and the heightened awareness that accompanies them). I'm nowhere near New York, but I'll be happy to spread word of the strike wherever I can.
